UNKNOWN

Image
OFTEN, THE FEELING OF BEING FED UP FROM THIS WORLD BUILDS WITHIN. IT TELLS YOU ALL SORTS OF THINGS AND YOU BECOME RESTLESS AND YOUR PEACE GOES AWAY. HERE IS A SIMILAR POEM. HOPE YOU ENJOY IT... The days are awful, terrible are the nights. I want to stop existing as I'm too scared to fight. I feel like running far away where the time doesn't count, to the place unknown to me where my reality is out of bounds. I lose myself day by day just to escape from all these stings. And when I give up trying, I end up losing everything. Although, I've endured plenty yet the fears I know not of, they creep up slowly inside me and bind me down like handcuffs. I don't know where I will go, from this path that I've started on. Promise me, when I leave this world, more will you smile, less will you mourn.

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

THAT RARE MOMENT OF OVERFLOWING JOY AND EMOTION WHEN YOU MEET A LONG LOST SOMEONE IS TRULY BEAUTIFUL. A JOURNEY THAT YOU ONCE SHARED GAVE YOU BOTH LOTS OF MEMORIES. THAT FATEFUL MOMENT FEELS LIKE A BLESSING OF GOD. HERE IS A POEM DEPICTING THE SAME. HOPE YOU CONNECT WITH IT... I've lost count of years that passed after the last words were exchanged. I'm living since then on your memories alone as we grew apart and unknown we remain. Funnily enough, I don't know why I'm recalling you more than ever today. Your face, your thoughts grow on me like a fine wine that ages day by day. I smiled widely, I cried deeply It was like the first time we met. We are still those helpless, idiot kids our bond even fate couldn't forget. I know that all of this sounds cliche yet each and every word is true. Some secrets to tell, things left unsaid, we will take them together into the blue. So, until the day we meet again, I leave you with memories of me. Truly magnificent it is, how ou...

THE GIRL WITH THE GLASSES

Image
VERY FEW PEOPLE KNOW THE JOY OF WATCHING, FEWER HAVE EXPERIENCED IT. FROM THE TREES AND THE BIRDS TO THE LIFELESS STATUES - EACH ONE CAN TELL YOU A STORY IF YOU ARE EAGER TO LISTEN. A POEM OF ONE SUCH WATCHER IS WRITTEN BELOW. HOPE YOU LIKE IT...  In a corner of the park, she stood, gazing at a book held in her hands. Glasses on her eyes, shaded by a growth, as if to it, she was betrothed. I sat there and watched her read, from the break of the day till eventide. She went on without a flinch as I felt my every body part twinge. And, as the summer fell into fall and left her with no shade. Still, she held and on she read as the leaves descended, coloring her red. Then, the autumn went and the winter came and dyed everything as white as it could. I couldn't see for she was veiled by flakes, only then, did my illusion break. She was never real, all was ethereal. But still, I am sitting at the same spot. She brought me joy, to this dream I cling, I will see her again in the ecstatic sp...

WHO AM I ?

Image
SOMETIMES, I JUST SIT DOWN AND PONDER OVER WHAT OR WHO AM I? THIS QUESTION NEVER HAD ANY DEFINITE ANSWER. TO COME UP WITH A THING TO DEFINE YOURSELF IS VERY HARD. A SELF-INTROSPECTION IS MUCH NEEDED IN THESE TIMES OF CHAOS. HERE IS A POEM. HOPE YOU ALL LOVE IT... Yesterday, I talked to me and asked myself, who am I? Failing to come up with an answer, I mused and hours went by. Am I this body, full of flaws, with hardened bones and a funny jaw? Covered with flesh from head to toe, I sat there looking at myself in awe. Surely, I thought, I am the brain, as it wants all the knowledge attained. It yearns to always be entertained. Then why, am I so uncertain? I could be the soul, resting at ease, driving the body so it could be appeased. Draining the brain in search of peace, then the truth struck me and my thinking ceased. A wondrous existence, like all others, who were and who will be. I am the body, I am the brain, I am the soul, they constitute me.
